The United Kingdom Ready to Utilize Frozen Russian Holdings to Fund the Ukrainian Military Campaign
The UK is set to progress with employing the total value of frozen Russian assets to support the Ukrainian defense operations, PM Sir Keir Starmer has stated.
In a joint statement, the heads of state of the Britain, the French Republic, and the Federal Republic of Germany stated that this coordinated action would escalate tension on Russia's leader Vladimir Putin and compel Russia to come to the table.
They clarified that the decision would be implemented in tight collaboration with the America.
British sanctions have immobilized over Β£25bn of Russia's assets since Moscow began its full-scale invasion against the Ukrainian nation in 2022.
