Mohamed Salah Extends Apology to Liverpool Dressing Room, Says Curtis Jones
Curtis Jones has disclosed that the Egyptian forward apologised to the team in the wake of the uproar from his recent interview.

He was omitted from a key Champions League match after criticising the club and suggesting his rapport with Arne Slot had deteriorated.
“He speaks for himself and he can say his own stuff,” the midfielder said. “His apology was clear and was like: ‘If I’ve affected anybody, please accept my apology.’”
Arne Slot has refused to comment publicly on whether he got an explanation from the veteran striker.

The player stated that the dressing room atmosphere remained positive. “He was the exact same Mo, his demeanour was positive and we all treated him normally,” he continued.
The midfielder also implied that a competitor wanting to play is preferable. “I understand there are specific approaches you can handle situations,” he said. “But if a lad’s fine to just sit out, then I think that’s concerning.”

Their results have stayed unbeaten in the matches since the initial controversy. The player is convinced the forward's comments were not intended to destabilise the squad.
“In moments of frustration, the source has been from a desire to win,” Jones concluded. “It's behind us and we’re gelling well as a team, getting results and starting to win games.”
