Ex- Doctor Faces Assault Allegations Involving Thirty-Eight Individuals in His Care
Legal authorities report that a ex- physician has been charged with performing assaults involving 38 victims who were under his care.
The Grave Allegations
The accused, Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham faces allegations of dozens of sexual offences – some of which involve some against children younger than 13 – between 2017 to 2021.
One senior CPS official commented, “Our prosecutors have worked at length to support a detailed and complex police inquiry, meticulously examining the evidence to establish that there is sufficient evidence to proceed to trial and that it is in the interest of justice.”
The Police Inquiry
These allegations follow what investigators described as a “complex investigation” into reported assaults at two hospitals: the Royal Stoke university hospital and a facility in Dudley.
The defendant is scheduled to appear at the local magistrates' court on January 20th.

Prosecutors outline the 45 sexual offences comprise:
- Fifteen counts of sexual assault.
- 17 counts of penetrative assault.
- 9 counts of sexual assault of a child under 13.
- Three counts of penetrative assault on a child under thirteen.
- One count of attempted penetrative assault.
